Applying business strategy and tactics to facing self-imposed challenges, indeed some danger, then surpassing the "total risk" point then reaching "nirvana" ... the feeling of achievement, the exultation from going "beyond" the once-thought-impossible. Not once ... but more!
I'm getting excited sitting here at the keyboard. Can you feel it?
Building myself-up has been a personal challenge from years ago, indeed from a "galaxy far away". I've been fortunate to find guidance and a pathway. Andy has dreamed of "it" many times and imagined himself actualizing the actions, step by step up a slippery path, freezing temps, wind howling, icy conditions, and yet he executed it. More than once. Not just the challenge of climbing Mount Everest but at sea level, too.
Yes, Andy was afraid of water, did not know how to swim, but he set a goal to learn how, covid conditions or not, and then one day a couple of years later he actually jumped into the English Channel and began the strokes, mental and physical, dodging fish and ocean-bound plastics and yucky-gook-stuff, keeping away from ocean liners and oil tankers ...and carried-on swimming towards France. Can you imagine?
Andy faced danger and disappointment yet "won the battle" going beyond the mental demons by finding a resource and calm "from above".
What a story! Cheers.
Andy Elliman talks about all of it helping people realize there is a way forward, despite odds, despite mental challenges and more... for all of that I decided he represented the BEST and was my easy choice...
